I have a windows guest under a windows host which I need the time to be a specific day every time the VM Runs

I first changed the system time of the HOST to the day I wanted
I then booted guest with network card disabled and disabled time sync
Shutdown VM

I then changed HOST date to correct date
Verified Guest still had previous date

Can anyone help me figure out why?

Also to troubleshoot I set HOST to a different incorrect date, and GUEST is syncing with HOST time not REAL time (Example today is 4/3/2018. I set guest to 3/1/2018 and host to 3/2/2018, once network card was enabled Guest time changed to 3/2/2018)
